David & Fiona – Winter Wedding

Dec 25, 2009

We had a lovely fall of snow last Friday, which blanketed our already gorgeous city in a sparkling shroud of white.  I was fortunate enough to be asked to shoot the wedding of Fiona & David that morning – a really fun and lovely couple who were jumping into life together.  They were married at the tiny but beautiful St-Swithun-Upon-Kingsgate church, just behind the city cathedral, before heading to the city mill for a delicious-looking lunch.  They were kind enough to stand still in the freezing temperatures whilst I snapped a few pictures, before rushing into a mercifully heated car.  They are away on honeymoon now, and won’t be back until after the new year, but I just wanted to say thank you – I had a terrific time and was made to feel very welcome – and congratulations to them both.
