Nici & Matt’s snowy engagement shoot in Winchester

Feb 5, 2012

Last night saw our first snowfall of 2012 in Winchester.  As we came back from the pub at 11.30 last night the city was quiet; muffled by a light blanket of powdery snow.  Matt & Nici had contacted me a couple of months before saying how they would love to have their engagement shoot in the snow (“hmm…let me see…um…hells yes!), so we had been waiting for just this opportunity.  So this morning at short notice I bundled the kids, dog, and brand new sledge into the car to meet them up at Farley Mount just outside Winchester.  The early morning rainfall had dissipated the blanket of snow (now more like one of those cheap fleece blankets you get from garages…), but we tromped through the ice/snow/slush to make some pictures of them.  Matt & Nici – thanks for being such great sports, for coming across to Winchester, and for tolerating my interlopers with such good humour –  I hope you like your pictures xxx
