Chris & Pat’s Dorset wedding photography, in Sturminster Newton.
Chris & Pat’s wedding was as sweet, chaotic, unconventional and flippin’ lovely as they are.
We used to work together, a decade and a half ago, in a school for kids with Autistic Spectrum Disorders – and bar now that period was the happiest of my working life. Due in large part to these two – full of generosity, humour, kindness, and (as Best Man Sam most eloquently put in his perfect speech), they give the best of themselves to others, without hesitation.
So, after a whirlwind 18-year courtship, they were married yesterday in their home town of Sturminster Newton, surrounded by family, close friends, and their two beautiful daughters. It was a sunny afternoon filled with laughter and affection, and possibly a few glasses of the bubbly stuff. After eating, we headed to a local beauty spot – Sturminster Mill, in order to take some portraits – you may notice Chris wasn’t entirely solemn for these -, and for me to electrocute myself and fall down a river bank (true story. I like to bring some entertainment, nay clowning, to the day).
I had an ace day. I think everyone did. Here is a peek:
