A beautiful chaos…Ashleigh & Joe’s Northbrook Park wedding

I have been looking forward to this wedding for aaages!  I had never shot at Northbrook Park before and it was a treat for the eyes, with walled gardens and beautiful flowers, hidden corners & shady passageways.  It seemed a long way off when Ashleigh first called to ask if I was free back in January 2014, but it got here eventually, and it was well worth the wait.

Weddings don’t always go totally to plan, and today was no exception.  What’s the phrase?  ‘You can’t control what happens to you, only how you respond to it’, well Ashleigh & Joe responded to their few stumbling blocks with good humour & a knowledge that a few bumps in the road can’t affect a day as special as this one was.  I loved being there, and I loved being part of it.  Ashleigh you looked beautiful and both of you were wonderful to be around – thank you so much.  Also, I make no apology for the millions of shots of Adaline that I took – to be honest you are lucky I didn’t smuggle her home.  Also, peacocks.  because, well, they are peacocks..
