Anna & Martyn’s Winchester Wedding

 

Anna & Martyn were married yesterday at Lainston House hotel in Winchester, accompanied by rain, sun and some truly lovely people.

We started at the Royal Hotel in the centre of Winchester, where myself, Anna’s Finnish family, and many of their friends boarded a 1949 Bedford OB vintage bus (from Mervyn’s Coaches) to watch them get married in the outdoor pavilion at Lainston.  The rain held off long enough to see them joined in a lovely ceremony which included some really emotional readings by Martyn’s children, and surrounded by white peony decorations from Exclusively Weddings.
The hotel grounds were a sea of colour, and although the weather worked against us, everyone had a gorgeous day.

Thank you so much for having me there, Anna & Martyn, it was so wonderful to watch you get married.  Thanks as well to Alex & the staff at Lainston who were as helpful & efficient as ever, and to every one of the lovely guests who took time to chat with me – is always lovely to see my couples through the eyes of the people who love them. xxx
