Eleanor & Ben’s Waddesdon Manor Wedding
A Waddesdon Manor Wedding
Ah, what a way to kick off the 2017 wedding season! Eleanor & Ben had their beautiful Waddesdon Manor Wedding yesterday at The Dairy, on a day full of winter sunshine, smiles & family. Ben talked in his speech about how they met & everything just seemed easy, and right, and after spending a day with them I can see what he means – these two just fit together like cogs.
Eleanor’s family made me really welcome in the morning where they all got ready in The Buttery – complete with a cheeky McDonalds and a bevy of gorg ladies dressed in navy. Eleanor looked amazing in her strapless gown as she went to meet her man at the end of the aisle. Afterwards we ran to make some pictures in the stunning Winter sunshine; visiting Windmill Hill, and the Aviary – we managed to keep it to 30 minutes, but I could have shot here for hours – I can’t wait to return. If you haven’t visited Waddesdon before I highly recommend it.
The rest of the day seemed to pass in a blur, but Tag (Eleanor’s brother’s) speech stuck in my mind. He recounted how Eleanor walked him school every morning as a kid, making sure he was safe & got where he needed to be. Tag walked Eleanor down the aisle yesterday, and he said how honoured he was to return that favour – making sure she felt the same way on the most important walk of her life. Yes, I had a small cry.
So E & B, here are a sneak peek at your pictures, I will be in touch in a few weeks with the rest. THANK YOU for yesterday, for making Emily & I feel so welcome, and part of your beautiful day.
PS: check out those gorgeous golden animals as place name holders! Thank you as well to Hollie & the team at Waddesdon Dairy for looking after us so well, and being so flexible.

Completely full of joy! What a wonderful representation of their day. Your description of her brother’s speech made me well up too – bravo that man!
