Ashley Wood Farm Wedding: Will & Charlotte
An Ashley Wood Farm Wedding
Some weddings have adult bouncy castles.
Charlotte & Will were married yesterday at the beautiful St Thomas Church in Salisbury, by the lovely Rev. Dominic (who gets Angepoints for letting me shoot the signing of the register as it happens, rather than staging afterwards), and who presides over the most stunning of churches – lofty & awe inspiring & welcoming, as all churches should be. Afterwards, we headed to the brilliant Ashley Wood Farm in Wiltshire – I hadn’t been there since Fay & Tim’s fantastic wedding last year which I loved, so I was really excited to be back. Again we were treated to an unseasonably sunny day – fantastic for most things, but possibly a little less for the unfortunate guests who were stuck in the broken down vintage bus on the A36…. They eventually joined us for canapés & drinks from the fab Indulge Catering who were incredibly flexible, served delicious food, fetched stranded guests in their own cars, and did it all with a smile on their faces – THANK YOU!
After a delicious dinner (the tables decorated with stunning wood & flower centrepieces & ceramic place settings by talented Lottie), and speeches, (and a few forgotten names), we enjoyed Ashley Wood’s special ambience with fires and cheese and much frivolity. And we Ceilidh’d, and oh man just look at Lotti’s embroidered boots! Oh, and the bouncy castle. And a set of exuberant groomsmen. It’s probably best if you just look at the pictures really…
Thank you so much Will & Charlotte for your kindness, your welcoming, and your trust. Thank you to flower girl Scarlett for keeping me entertained & charmed all day. Thank you to everyone at Ashley Wood Farm & Indulge for your welcome. I had an amazing day xxx.
