Kat & Marc’s Winchester Basing room & Green Man pub wedding

A chic & personal city wedding, with a Temperly dress & stylish local boozer

Kat & Marc got married yesterday, and I consider myself very blessed to be the one they choose to record it for them.  Because they are pretty darn ace, as it happens.

They made it official at the Basing Room – Winchester’s main registry office, which was handily decorated in the peacock colours that matched both Marc’s suit & the decor at The Green Man in Southgate Street.  The upstairs room was transformed into an incredibly elegant banqueting room with candelabra, vintage dishes, and a beautiful high tea to celebrate with after the ceremony.  They then moved downstairs to ‘The Outhouse’ for a bit of industrial chic & party time.

I love city weddings, and I love my city – it is full of hidden glories, and every day spent photographing people in love within its walls is a treat & an adventure.

So here is a sneak of their day, before I go & pack my bags for tomorrow’s adventure.  Thank you so much for having me with you Kat & Marc, you were such wonders, and your day suited you so much.  xXx
