Patrick & Anna’s magical Houghton Lodge, Hampshire wedding photography….

Jun 25, 2017

Well, I guess that whole wedding thing was okaaaaayyy…. 😀 Patrick & Anna’s Hampshire wedding photography

Patrick & Anna are flippin’ lovely.  FACT. They met in their first year of University, and married today at St Peter’s Catholic Church, followed by a celebration at Houghton Lodge Gardens full of fun, and hugs, and two families who clearly love spending time together. We had plants the colour of ice cream (Houghton, every time I think I have seen everything, another crop of beautiful flowers and I am blown away), dragonflies, a non flying dragon firing vapour if not actual flames (and thanks to my second shooter Julie for her awesome dragon-provoking skills), dancing to the brilliant Retrobates, and..oh yes, that time when the skies cleared after a day of bruised skies & threw us an epic rainbow to say goodnight…

Thank you so much for having Julie & I with you for the day, it was such a massive pleasure to spend time with you all, your wedding was just perfect.  And I have to say I loved all your speeches, but especially yours Patrick – sincere, from the heart, and really very moving.

So I will finish my wittering & head to bed, but leave you all with some words that were special to them, from the pen of F Scott Fitzgerald:

“I fell in love with her courage, her sincerity, and her flaming self respect. And it’s these things I’d believe in, even if the whole world indulged in wild suspicions that she wasn’t all she should be. I love her and it is the beginning of everything.”

Oh, and a bunch of pictures….
