Holly & Ali’s Kingston Maurward wedding
HOLLY & ALI, YOU BEAUTIES! What an incredible day. I am sat here at my desk in the early hours looking through my files because I am far too buzzed to sleep.
About a year or so ago, Holly emailed me to say that they were going to have to reschedule their wedding, as they had an unexpected event – his name turned out to be Freddie. And Freddie is a super lucky little sausage because (a) he has these kick ass people as his parents, and (b) because today he got to see them get married. Okay, his memories may be somewhat blurred or non existent, but hopefully through these pictures I will let him know that it was a day like no other, that he partied hard, and that he is deeply loved. So much so, that his parents combined their wedding with a baptism for him…
We started the day in with Holly & her fantastic parents & bridesmaid in Wimborne (and with my go-to hair & make up geniuses, Farida & Jesse), whilst my brilliant second shooter Hollybobbins hung out with Ali & his posse in Poole. Then it was off to the Holy Trinity church in Dorchester to do the deed, before we travelled down the road to the beautiful Kingston Maurward college and to the incredible day that these two laid on for their guests. Every time you rounded a corner you found a new activity, idea, or beautiful vista – they worked so hard to make this day their own, and to make sure everyone was fed, happy & entertained. Kingston Maurward itself looked beautiful in the sun, and the indoor spaces matched – special mention must go to The Wild Fox florist whose frankly epic arrangements & decor at all of the venues today were breathtaking. Videography buddy for today was fab Ben Radley
Anyway, less talk, more pictures. Thank you guys, we had such a lovely day, and you were incredible people to get to hang out with. HUGE hugs to you. I hope you like your sneak peek xxx
