Emily & Alex’s Lainston House wedding

Sep 24, 2017

Emily & Alex were married yesterday on the most perfect day – blue skies, a light breeze, a beautiful setting in Lainston House, and Emily looking OMG amazing in the GOWN OF DREAMS by Jesus Piero.

Alex & Emily pretty much nailed the idea of being super chill on your wedding day.  The M3 had been closed since the early hours & Winchester was in total gridlock.  Emily was so unruffled, and totally understood than minor dramas were just part of the day, luckily the traffic cleared & the wedding car arrived in time (much like your slightly more ruffled dear photographer who was so worried about being late she ran across a farmers field to get to the church rather than take the car, just in case…).

So, traffic aside, everything went swimmingly.  Reverend Jacks gave the most beautiful service at St Stephen’s at Sparsholt – too often they can feel a little rote (a natural consequence of so many weddings I am sure), but she made sure we understood every moment, every meaning, and it was so special as a result.

Then back to Lainston where Dawley Barn was decorated in such an elegant way by Exclusively weddings & featuring beautiful statement balloons by The Feather Balloon Company.

Emily & Alex, thank you so much for having Emily & I there to record your day, it was truly special.  Have an amazing honeymoon, and I hope you like your sneak peeks!  xoxo
