Theo & Emily’s completely lovely Warborne Farm wedding

Jun 9, 2019

WARNING: This post includes a bunch of animals, more cake than I have ever seen outside of an actual cake shop, and a bunch of shiny happy people.

So, I didn’t quite know what I was walking into this morning.  I hadn’t had the chance to meet Theo & Emily in person before their day as they live out of area, and the weather was…interesting…(I had driven through pretty much ALLLL the weather on my way there, but mainly horizontal rain), and their ceremony was outside – so I was half expecting a whirling dervish of stress.  What I got was two of the most relaxed people I have ever met, who rolled with the punches, laughed at the splattering rain, and had their amazing day as they wanted it.  And actually, the weather played ball pretty spectacularly, other than a small amount of rainy hell breaking loose as they walked back down the aisle, but then giving us an evening of beautiful sun.

They were married at Warborne Farm in Lymington  – I have shot here a couple of times before and I absolutely love it.  The decor is beautiful, the quality of light had me squeaking madly, and its chock full of animals to stroke.  This is an unhitherto unthought of importance on a wedding day.  Plus they have a GOAT WINDOW.  In the floor.  No people, this is not a drill.  Goat Window. Anyway, I want to come back here more. There’s piggies to scritch.

Emily & Theo have a fantastic family & bunch of friends, from the moment I walked in I was made to feel 100% welcome.  Everyone was friendly, and chatty and relaxed.  Much like the particularly lovely new Mr & Mrs.

They also picked a set of wonderful suppliers to get their day running smoothly.  The amazing cream tea wedding breakfast was supplied by the completely lovely Jam & Tea (who also did the stunning styling), with an astonishingly good pizza by the Dorset Pizza Kitchen.  The Gin Tin were present supplying G&T to all, and Emily’s BEAUTIFUL 1930’s style vintage gown was sourced by the clever bunnies at Abigails Vintage Bridal.  The blessing was provided by their dear friend, Vicar Fran.

Thank you all for the most amazing day!  But mainly thank you to Emily & Theo for trusting me to tell its story.  Here are your previews xxx
