Katie & Gavin’s Cotswold wedding
Hey all! I have been sitting on this wedding for a few weeks, but I figured it was time to unleash it to the world. I have been so lucky this year with some truly wonderful clients – all brilliant people with kind hearts and wonderful days that reflected them. You can’t ask for much more, as a wedding photographer and as a human.
Katie & Gavin were no exception. I didn’t get meet them before the day, but the minute I arrived, Katie’s warm and funny and totally wonderful mum Caroline welcomed me in and made me feel like I had been there for days.
Katie & Gavin are both reserved & warm people, and their wedding was a testament to good friends – so many people there knew them as kids (and had the stories to prove it…). It was such a treat to be there. Plus I got to witness Katie in her incredible Halfpenny dress looking like some kind of vision.
A special mention must go to some of the suppliers that made the day what it was. The incredible Mudway Workman marquee had been transformed by resident genius & planner Julia Sibun – who was amazing on the day; part planner, part problem solver, part all round mum. Thank you for everything Julia. The INCREDIBLE florals were by Rob Van Helden and special mention too must be paid to what has to be hands down my favourite wedding entertainment ever – the London Essentials, who roamed the marquee and had everyone in stitches, along with being damn fine musicians. Evening music was provided by Beat Band, and the crazy good food by Birch catering.
Katie & Gavin, thank you for such an amazing day.
